He will be one of more than 10 Ballarat food trucks set up shop for ‘hump day’ dinner at the Ballarat Trotting Club on Wednesday from 5pm to 9pm.

The event is part of month long food festival Plate Up Ballarat, a celebration of local producers.

The festival’s philosophy is to support and promote connections between venues, producers and the broader community in Ballarat and surrounding regions.

Plate Up Ballarat director Kate Davis said the team hoped to continue to grow the Hump Day Pop Up Food Truck event in years to come.

Gold coin entry to the event will donated to the Feed Ballarat Appeal, #feedballarat, a Ballarat Foundation initiative to ensure everyone in the city has continuous access to safe, fresh and nutritious food.
